BlueOak Designs was created in February of 2002. Our business is native Chico CA, which gave us the idea to use the Northern California BlueOak as our official logo and identity. Of course like many others we began working pro bono for family and friends and the need and demand began to grow from word of mouth. Our client Eternal Image Photography by Robert Hoffman came to us needing business cards to begin to advertise his work and give them a point of location for his clients do go to. We took his image photography and use the beauty of the photography to speak for itself.

Artist and musician Kara Tupy needed a album cover to promote her new album "Changing from the Inside". We took a painting given by our Client and set it into the design from a wall picture and made it look rough yet artistic. Butte Counties Firestorm Fire Suppression came to BlueOak Designs to create a modified web site of their existing site. Previous within their site they hand quite a lot of information and links which sent you deep within the site with no way out.We took their existing information and images and added flash headers, and created a smooth user-friendly site which made it easy to navigate yet implemented all the content needed for the site. With form applications and user logins the final was a very professional looking site.
This is a sample template of a commerce site built for witnessshirts.com. It's simple layout and color design shows that for a low cost you can still bring out your business in a way that will make you feel proud to show off your products. This site had a nice layout of the clients logo with a reflection look and lightbox images which made it a nice looking site. Low cost templates are available upon request.

Monday Night Grooves is a DJ company that focus on a dance house music style. MNG was looking to bring out their name with the style of a record player highlighted by a flashy background. This was one of BlueOak Designs very first websites. Hope Chest Builders was looking for a site with a victorian theme, and also with a low cost budget. BlueOak made a four page site with simple navigation and added a product page which linked to Hope Chest Paypal account. This site shows BlueOak Designs ability to create designs of different styles.
When BlueOak Designs were creating a website for Hope Chest Builders, they had no previous design layouts. So they needed a whole package from scractch. Hope Chest requested their logo name in a elegant style with a soft color scheme to match a victorian style. BlueOak created a font highlight of their name with a over lay of the full business.
BlueOak Designs was approached by Vineyard of Chico, a non denomanational Church based out of Chico CA, to produce a full resource website. This website needed alot of different aspects withing the site. The final product was a website of dynamic pages with Flash elements, MP3 downloads, events, and a blog. We created a logo based out of flash with a rotating element and a beautiful color scheme that sets the content that is easy to ready and very easy to navigate. www.vineyardofchico.com
